Monty Python "Asteroids" Game Launched
To celebrate the release of "Stephen Hawking Sings Monty Python... Galaxy Song", the classic 1970s arcade game "Asteroids" has been revamped and taken over by Monty Python and Stephen Hawking.
The game’s central spaceship has been replaced by a rocket propelled, heavily armed Stephen Hawking who must shoot and destroy the Monty Python asteroids (represented by the heads of each of the Pythons) before they collide with him. Points are awarded for shooting all Pythons, wiping out all the bearded Pythons, taking down Brian Cox and zapping both Terrys'.
The new game is available through the newly added “Arcade” page on the Monty Python website.
